The Short Story

From the time we spent as a child fighting leukemia, to breaking my acetabulum and suffering a traumatic brain injury causing me to have to relearn how to walk. Life has taught us that the adventure comes from the experience of the challenge. We have come to express this through various art forms namely: spinning poi, having fire move around oneself has this freeing effect that is both exhilarating and peaceful at the same time. Three dimensional origami, we made regular origami then moved to 3d then started to make it smaller to the point were we needed to use dentist picks due to how small the creations were becoming. We draw using ink this way it makes any mistake permanent and we then have to use it within the work. Within these drawings we places pictures of pictures and the viewer is then subjected to a similar experience such as the Rorschach test.
Beyond kinetic and visual arts we also participate in mountain biking, hiking, snow-shoeing, exploring ghost/abandoned towns of the west, spelunking, rock hounding, and aimless wonderings in nature
